Depart after 10:00 AM and visit Santa Claus in his main office in Lapland. Discover a place where it is Christmas all year round. Have a private meeting with Santa Claus, and then send greetings to all your friends from Santa's Post Office.  Also, the Arctic Circle cuts right through Santa Claus's Village. A white line denoting the Arctic Circle, at its position in 1865, is painted across the park. You will officially enter the Arctic area when you cross the line. The line is a very popular photo spot for all visitors. Cross the circle and get an Arctic Circle certificate. Have the opportunity to taste the traditional Christmas buffet with lunch at Santa's place.

Enjoy snow-covered winter forests as you travel 5 to 10 kilometers to camp, cozy and safe atop the sled. Meet your guide at your hotel near the center of Rovaniemi and head for the charming farmhouse where you'll greet your dog sledding team. Then it's off to search for the Aurora Borealis. If conditions permit, you may even get to drive the sled yourself. The huskies will lead you to camp to enjoy a dish of hearty Lappish sausages and good company around a fire. This is a fantastic tour choice for those looking to pack in some adventure during their time exploring Lapland's gorgeous natural surroundings. To begin this snowmobiling adventure, you will be picked up at your accommodation. Meet your qualified guide and get dressed up in an insulated winter overall. After a short briefing, you will step into a modified Super Jeep and drive up the forest to the snowmobile base. Once participants have had a short briefing on how to operate the snowmobiles and have been provided with necessary safety equipment, you will pull the throttle and make the hair-raising journey into the Arctic Circle forests and lakes. Prepare for some serious speed as you find yourself whizzing across the wild! You will stop to rest before you come back to base and enjoy hot drinks and gingerbread.

Immerse yourself in truly authentic Lappish culture with the country’s magical, gentle reindeer. Experience the tranquillity of the local forests as you travel along the glittering snowy trail on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. After being picked up from your hotel, you will meet the local reindeer herders and familiarize yourself with their culture and everyday life. Take the opportunity to feed the reindeer and take pictures with them. Then, you will depart the farm in a storybook wooden sled, wrapped up in warm blankets, for a short journey with the reindeer into the forest. To show all your friends back home, you’ll receive a certified reindeer sleigh driving license. After returning from your mystical ride, cuddle up in the cozy traditional Lappish hut while listening to the farmer as they share stories of the local history and culture. Taste some steaming beverages and cookies, the all-time favorite for locals to warm up in the winter time.

You will embark on a journey to view the majestic Northern Lights... while floating in a secret lagoon! After a 15 km journey outside of the city, where there´s no light pollution, you will be taken to an icy lake surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape - the ideal place to observe this natural phenomenon. Drive away from the city to the place with the highest chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Find a warm spot to set up the fire and sit and wait for the show. The more time you spend outside the more likely you are to see the lights. Usually, you can view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river.  All of the pictures of the Northern Lights on the website were taken during tours, some by clients and some by guides. Some were even taken on a mobile phone. Cameras often capture stronger images than what you can see with the naked eye. However, when the Aurora really starts to dance, no cameras are needed. Put the cameras down and observe this very special phenomenon for a much more personal experience. 

Your special morning shuttle will depart from your hotel and head to Posio’s virgin forest area, 160 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Korouoma is a 1-million year old fracture valley in the bedrock, and at the center of the valley it forms a magnificent gorge that drops over 100 meters below its surrounding terrain. Thick snow accumulates in the trees of the forest making the forest appear completely dreamy and blurred. Amazing photos of the ice and snow can be taken absolutely everywhere. Professional guides will escort you into the forest. In the middle of your hike, your guide will make a bonfire for you and you can experience the traditional cuisine of the Arctic Circle. Korouoma is known for its magnificent frozen waterfalls that cover the tall cliffs in the winter. There are altogether 14 frozen waterfalls along the Korouoma hiking trail. Korouma is hands-down the best destination for ice climbing in Finland!

Enjoy the evening sunlight in a peaceful forest away from the noise of the city. Drive out of the city to reach a lake in the middle of the wilderness, where the sun does not set in summer.   Float in the middle of an arctic lake gazing up at the sky, listening to the birds singing, and experiencing nature from the water. You will be provided with a floating suit to stay warm and dry when on the lake.   Your guide will prepare hot drinks of coffee and tea on an open fire for you to enjoy after the floating experience. Together you will make a toast to the midnight sun, and head back to the city with a rested mind.

The adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in the central Rovaniemi area then heads to a local husky farm where furry fun awaits! After a warm welcome from the huskies and their owners, learn everything there is to know about these friendly and fascinating animals. Enjoy a hot drink and a tasty snack while you listen, then prepare for your sled ride. Climb onto the sleigh, which is pulled by a pack of dogs, then enjoy the short but pleasant ride through the Lapland landscape. Travel with the huskies for 1 kilometer, admiring the views all around you as you speed through the snow. After the 5-minute round trip, spend some quality time with the huskies as you get up close and personal for some cuddles. You can also take photos with the dogs as a souvenir of this wonderful activity.
