We goofed up the departure time for the tour due to a time change, but the office worked with us to help us have a tour within the new time contraints, which was super nice! If they wanted, I assume they could have just told us we missed the departure and we were out of luck, so even though we got an abbreviated tour - it was better than nothing! Our tour guide Esteban (sp?) was super! Very friendly (and patient - I'm not exactly an athlete in my middle years!) and it ended up being a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in Puerto Vallarto!
A very comfortable trip back and forth in the group van. The guide spoke during the drive and we were left to our own interests once we got to the towns. The beach was far nicer and less crowded at San Pancho and I wished we could have stayed there longer than 20 minutes. At least 45 minutes would have given me time to enjoy the beach. There was far more to do as far as shops and restaurants at Saluyita but the beach was so congested probably because it was a Saturday tour.
A great day spent with our guide Jorge, who lives in the area of the tour. He knows everything about the pueblos just south of PV and is doing his part to help the wild macaws in the area. Would have liked to have spent more that 15 minutes in the main part of El Tuito - needed at least, but we had to keep to a schedule to fit in all the stops.
Gorgeous spot. You zipline through jungle canopy and over a small river that is breathtaking. What's not mentioned is that you need to be quite fit to hike from one zip to the next. There's considerable climbing throughout the excursion from platform to platform. The guides are very experienced and will take good care of you.
I would have liked to spend more time downtown and on the malacon, not in3 stores. The ride down the coast was beautiful but long. At least I don’t have to take time now to go down to Mismaloya. The rustic lunch was tasty but why on a “city “ tour??
