Of all the places in San Diego that I could have chose to go on my birthday, I chose the Lions Tigers & Bears Animal Sanctuary guided tour in Alpine, CA. And it did not disappoint. I fully enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. My favorite part of the tour, besides seeing the joy on my wife’s face as she experienced seeing these big beautiful animals up close and personal with me, was being able to actually feed one of the animals of my choice. This tour is definitely “bucket list” worthy, and also a great place to take family and friends when they come to visit.

We love seeing all the animals and extra extraordinary efforts the team is going through to care for them. Our guide, Summer, was very good and informative. We would highly recommend this for those who care about protecting big cats and bears.

It was incredible! One of the best zoos I’ve ever been to. It was educational and fun. I’d recommend starting with the tour bus, then the Skyfari, that’s a great way to see 75% of it if you’re on a time crunch.
