Everything went well

The visit to Versailles went very well. We were there on Pentecost Sunday and were able to walk past the long queue for ticket sales. However - as previously advised by GetYourGuide - we had to queue for admission. This was relatively unproblematic in the gardens, but the line to the castle was extremely long. It is advisable to follow the recommendations of GetYourGuide and get to Versailles at 9:00 a.m. or at 3:00 p.m. Since we arrived at 11:00 am, we would have had to wait about 2 hours. So we decided not to visit the castle and enjoyed our time in the gardens. On our next visit to Paris, we would probably choose a guided tour of the palace with GetYourGuid, as it might save waiting times. About the gardens themselves: the gardens are impressive and have gigantic proportions, but some of the plants were in poor condition.

Mat, our tour guide, was excellent. he had a lot of knowledge and information about the events that took place at that time and he conveyed them to us in a very nice way. It's a must-do when you visit Munich.

Guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. He also took the time to get to know each individual and answer specific questions they may have about Dachau or Munich in general.
