This tour was great! Our guide, Florence, spoke English, French and Italian brilliantly and knew a lot about Etna, so we learned a lot. The river visit was an unexpected highlight and a fantastic inclusion. At Etna, there will be offers of the cable car, electric bike or jeeps to take you further up (for an extra price of at least €68). However, if you don’t choose this, your guide will give you a walking tour around the craters and the site, which we loved. I really recommend this day trip, we loved it and learned a lot.

Alessio was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable and made even the car journey interesting. He took us to a few different sites on Etna and into a lava tube. He arranged a nice restaurant for lunch and then took us to Taomina. Got a good couple of hours here which is all you really need. He also does other tours on Sicily so will definitely look him up next time we visit.

Had rebooked on the Upper Crater Tour the day before. The staff very friendly. Everything went wonderfully and easily. The tour was interesting and you heard a lot of new things about Etna. The only minus: the alpine guide only spoke English, but tried very hard to ensure that everyone could follow him linguistically. All in all a wonderful educational tour.

Alessio was a fantastic tour guide: Personable, knowledgeable about the area & Montalbano, skilled driver and excellent English ability. While this tour had a focus on the show, Alessio would throw in other historical or cultural observations. We felt we could ask him anything and was a cool way of learning about Sicilian culture from a local.

Mauricio was magnificent! Wines were wonderful! The sights were sensational. Thank you Proffeso Mauricio for a great experience.
