Caterina was a wonderful guide! She was personable and knowledgeable, with a lovely enthusiasm for Bologna and its culinary heritage. Ours was only a small group of five, which was a nice size, and we loved exploring different tastes and eateries, all whilst getting to know Bologna. We also appreciated the personal recommendations of places to visit, some of which we duly followed up on! My wife and I both said that the tour was one of the highlights of our short stay in the city.
We had the best time! Chef Fred was so welcoming and entertaining. He had the best stories and worked with all of us on our pasta making. We took our teenage kids with us and they loved it too. The food was amazing start to finish. It was easy to get there by taxi and we walked back into the city center after eating. This is an experience we will remember for a long time.
We really enjoyed this pasta making class - the hosts Stefania and Valentina were very welcoming, informative and friendly. We learnt to make Spritz and Tagliatelle, and we’ll definitely be making them back at home! Would recommend to anyone staying in Bologna.
Our Guide Roberta was wonderful. She explained a lot and was sparkling with good mood. The tour submitted a very good overview of the culinary benefits and backgrounds of bolognese food.
Great fun, fantastic hosts and damn good, bloody good food! Highly recommended experience and we can’t wait to make pasta at home now. 😁
