God oplevelse på alle 3 steder. Lidt svært at høre, hvad der blev sagt pga. larmen i forbindelse med parmesanproduktionen, men meget flink guide, der gerne forklarede igen. Desværre var der ingen produktion på skinkefabrikken, da det var lørdag. Men så var der til gengæld tid og plads til at se alle rum/kølerum m.m., og guiden forklarede alt i forbindelse med produktionen + der blev vist en film med alle detaljer.
Marghaurita was great. Showing me in great detail three items for lunch. She is passionate about food and teaching. We enjoyed cooking and talking about our own families. She is now part of my Italian family. It’s a 42 minute bus ride from my hotel to her home out of the centre of Parma but she went out of her way to instruct me on the correct bus route out of town. She licked me yo from the station.
We enjoyed this tour very much. From the minute we were whisked away in the ban, our family of 5 had fun chatting with our wonderful driver. When we arrived, the tour itself included many interesting facts about balsamic vinegar and the production process. We were able to see many different areas of the production facility as well. And of course, the tasting at the end was my favorite part!
Our Parma tour was the highlight of our trip to Parma. Michelle our tour guide was excellent.She was so personable and knew every aspect of the cheese making and prochutto curing process and also the history.She was a walking enclyopedia of knowledge on the subjects.
