Kranjska Gora

We pick you up in Ljubljana and drive to Bled, the most attractive green alpine center, which delights tourists with unique experiences of nature, culture and history, sports and cuisine. Lake Bled is one of the most picturesque spots to visit in Slovenia. We can give you some free time to explore surroundings on your own, or you can join us on the recommended activitiy - short hike to the best view in Slovenia. After our trip to Lake Bled, our next stop is in Triglav National park, at magnificent Peričnik Waterfall. We have a short walk before we reach one of the highest Slovenian waterfalls. If you are feeling adventurous you can also walk behind the waterfall, which is a very refreshing experience. Our journey continues, as we head to Jasna Lake, located just 2 km from Kranjska Gora. This is a popular tourist destination with breathtaking views towards surrounding mountains. If you don’t mind the cold water you can also take a dip in this alpine lake. We stop for a short break, before we drive to the last stop at emerald green Zelenci natural reserve. In the far western part of the swamp lies lake with its characteristic phenomenal green color. After Zelenci, we have an option to take a short look at Planica Nordic center, with the gigantic ski jump, or we sum up the amazing day and head back to Ljubljana.

First you will visit one of the most impressive castles in Slovenia, Predjama cave castle, dating back to the middle ages, but keeping its secrets until today. The most famous owner was Erazem Predjamski, still a hero of many local legends. Postojna caves are the second largest in the world. This underground world is a creation of nature through millions of years. Its dripstones make this cave system one of the most beautiful ones. An electric train will take you into the cave and then a guide will walk you through the most interesting parts of the cave.

Experience a full day of spectacular scenery and unspoiled natural beauty. Travel from Kranjska Gora into the Julian Alps with your guide and discover the vast and unique alpine world. Depart from Kranjska Gora in the morning and head into the mountains. Then head over the Vrsic Pass, the highest mountain pass in the Julian Alps at 5285 feet (1611 meters). From the pass, you'll descend into the lush Trenta Valley. Travel along the emerald green Soca River, making several short stops along the way. Enjoy a short lunch break in Bovec before continuing over the Predil Pass to the world-famous ski jumps center in Planica. Begin your return journey back to Kranjska Gora. You'll be dropped off in the late afternoon, completing your day filled with stunning views of the alpine world.

The meeting point is at our Natour Bled office. With aproximately one hour drive we will reach Italian Border and just a few km further we will visit Laghi di Fusine, a set of two glacial lakes with crystal-clear waters surrounded by mountains. Coming back across the border, our first stop is in Planica, where we can admire one of the biggest ski jumps in the world. Then we will be exploring hidden gem of Zelenci, a nature reserve and Sava river source, known for its vibrant green lake and unique flora and fauna. The next lake we will visit is lake Jasna in Kranjska Gora. Admire the lush forests and high peaks of the Julian Alps. Our journey continues into hearth of Triglav National Park in to Vrata valley, where we will visit Peričnik waterfall. You can hike closer and even behind the 52m cascade for an up-close experience. Through the Radovna Valley our tour continues towards Lake Bled and we will admire wild flowers on pastures along the road. Included in tour is 1,6 km walk on wooden boardwalks through famous Vintgar Gorge. The emerald waters and towering cliffs create a magical atmosphere for a leisurely stroll. After the hike through Vintgar Gorge, the tour concludes with a stop at Natour Bar in Blejska Dobrava. Here, you will taste delicous štruklji, a traditional Slovenian dish made of rolled dough filled with various ingredients, and taste authentic Slovenian craft beer to complete sightseeing with top culinary experience. The tour ends with a relaxing drive back to Lake Bled.
