The great advantage of a private tour is that it gives you a flexibility, and this certainly did that. Tour guide Babu made sure we got to the attractions ahead of the crowds. The walking is easy, so suitable for all age groups. The lunch place did not look very promising from the outside, but the chicken curry served made up for it. Staff were very attentive.
The trip was amazing!:) We visited Penny museum, local fresh market, Fort, Botanical garden and wonderful beach. The driver Rajeev was so competent and he explained everything to us. He drives carefully and we were happy with this. He really loves his job because he is doing it by heart. Everything was well organized by Samir. Thank you!
Our guise spoke English but with the accent was difficult to understand. We went many places but due to the weather...rain and fog we did not enjor the viewpoints at all. Lunch was in a small place the service very slow and I found the food too spicy for me but my husband cleaned his plate.
Babu was awesome! hes so friendly and knows quite alot about the island and described everything in detail about the history and why certain places have certain names. the trip was pleasant and had nice aircon and he will take pictures of you and make you feel like an Instagram model :)
I was taken on a tour by Baboo who works for Sam Tours company. He is fantastic his knowledge and history of Mauritius was perfect. i have had the best time with Baboo i would recommend asking for Baboo when booking a tour.
