Choose from a shared or private experience to spend a few hours exploring the local culture of Hanoi by night. Take in the sights and smells of the bustling market with your guide and learn how the locals buy and trade. Afterwards, enjoy an authentic cultural experience by seeing a water puppet show. Native to Northern Vietnam, water puppetry gives an insight into rural Vietnamese life and folklore. Puppets are made from light timbers and are carved, polished, and decorated with different colours to demonstrate the clear personalities of each character. The show is performed in a pool using the water surface as the stage. The stage is decorated with flags, fans, and parasols. The artisans inside the cabin control the puppets with a system of ropes arranged outside or underwater. After the show, head to the West Lake where you will enjoy a lavish buffet dinner.
Depart from Hanoi in the early morning and take a short 15-minute break along the way to Ninh Binh province. Your first stop is Hoa Lu where you'll have almost an hour to listen to interesting historical stories about King Dinh and Le. Afterward, go to Mua Cave and challenge yourself with a 500-step hike up Dragon Mountain. Enjoy the great panoramic view of Tam Coc River and rice fields from the top of Dragon Moutain. At approximately 12:00 PM, stop for lunch and have the opportunity to try local specialty dishes at a quiet restaurant in the Trang An area. After lunch head out to the most popular attraction in Ninh Binh, the Trang An Grottoes. What a superb tour!! What a superb guide!! Ruby was very courteous, fun, informative, full of life, and a truly pleasant person. We went on a ride to a fabulous ancient temple, a very local yummy food eatery for banh xeo, a pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum for a spectacular sunset, refreshing drinks at a unique vietcong Cong Caphe, an old french railway bridge, the Opera house, and the Cathedral! And all this in the flow (& against) of chaotic Hanoi traffic! Simply breathtaking.. Thanks very much, Ruby! You did a fantastic job on one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced around the world! Awesome!!

We had a great time with Fifi and Alex. They showed us the most interesting places in Hanoi in historical and cultural terms. They didn't rush us, we had time for photos they took of us. Riding a scooter was an interesting experience and at the same time we felt very safe. Historical knowledge was completely sufficient for us and not overloaded. They answered all our additional questions in an interesting way with a smile. Super guides
Rose was an amazing and dedicated guide. She adapted the tour to my interests and dietary requirements - the crab noodle soup was delicious. This motorbike tour is the perfect way to see the city!
