History of Wroclaw is long and complex. To understand it, you need to dive into the past of over 1000 years. The city is called Microcosm by professor Norman Davies due to being a part of different countries and its location in the middle of Europe. Davies said that everything, what happened in Europe, at some point happened in Wrocław as well: wars and religious struggle, wealth of trade city, Nazis and WWII with almost total annihilation of the city, becoming a part of communist block to final jump into freedom over 25 years ago. My wife and I took the Grand E-Scooter Tour in Wroclaw last week, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and enjoyable. Our tour guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable and passionate about the city. He kept us fully engaged throughout the tour, not just with the carefully chosen route, but also with the fascinating commentary delivered through our headsets. The e-scooters themselves were a blast to ride—smooth, fun, and very easy to handle, even for first-timers. It was a perfect way to explore Wroclaw’s beautiful streets, hidden gems, and rich history without breaking a sweat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and insightful way to see the city!

Zuzanna was an eminently engaging, entertaining and personable guide! She really drove home that there is more to Wrocław than meets the eye (ie the archetypical ornate merchants' houses on the Rynek and, latterly, the hordes of revelling hen and stag doers), and that's not just the hidden dwarves - bygone prisoners' graffiti, guitarists' flashmobs, and Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk also all put in an appearance. Be warned though - the 2 1/2 duration are not a typo - this is a long one! Zuzanna though really made the time fly by and did not hit a solitary bum note throughout. I left thoroughly narratively enriched!
