Its a very nice trip and a great way to view the city and a rare opportunity of travelling under the Westgate and Bolte bridges and seeing them from that angle. I particularly recommend viewing the city from outside on the back of the boat as they are views you can only get from the water. There are plenty of good spots in Williamstown to have a meal as well. The commentary was interesting too and for the price it is good value.
Our tour guide San was great and took us on a fascinating trip through arcades and laneways, pointing out the beautiful Victorian and Art Deco architecture on the way. We visited some gorgeous niche shops and learned a lot about the history of the city. It was a really lovely tour and a great way to get an insight into what is available in Melbourne.
Melinda was great and we learned new things about the history of the CBD which was quite interesting. While we learned history of the different food types around and we tried a few places, as a ‘local’ the places we tried weren’t really hidden gems in our opinion. It was still a good day and we met some really nice people as well.
Great experience. Learned a lot about the history and infrastructure of Melbourne. Disappointed as didn’t realise the length of the cruise depended upon tide times/heights, (couldn’t fit under the remaining bridges on the Yarra River. 2 hour cruise consequently reduced to 1 hour.
Great, informative commentary. Very comfortable vessel. Very friendly and efficient staff. Not all parents bothered to keep their children under control so very noisy at times. Would recommend the 2 hour trip to anyone who wants to know more about Melbourne.
