Get ready to board an exclusive private boat and sail for about one hour searching for dolphins, before snorkeling and diving (for these who choose the diving option) in the Kisite marine national park. Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world, after the Australian Marine Park. Start your morning with a local Swahili breakfast offered on board.Explore 30 kilometers of turtles, marine tortoise, bearreeffs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. Next sail to Wasisni Island where your lunch of sea food and Swahili dishes will be served. After lunch, you’ll have the option to do a guided tour of the Wasini island and experience the local Swahili culture, visiting the beautiful coral garden, mangrove forest and fishing village to learn more about the Swahili people and their history. Your local guide will give you an in-depth explanation and background throughout the tour. Alternatively, you can relax at the restaurant, enjoying the sea view and the breeze. Once you are done with the island tour, board the boat and back to the mainland where you will take a guided tour of the Shimoni Slave Caves. Then, start the journey back to your accommodation. The tour normally ends at around 3:30pm.

No Engines: The canoe is powered by human energy (the captain rows and you can if you wish!) which means no engines and no dirty fumes entering the water. We will meet at the starting point and cross Kongo River. The trip takes place during low tide so crossing the river is as easy as crossing a small gentle stream. We will take an easy , slow , scenic 10minutes motor bike ride through beautiful Tiwi, you get to have a feel of how the local community lives in this area, during the ride. Everyone gets their own personal motorbike with a well trained rider to make it more comfortable and fun. We will then take a 10min BEACH walk to the African pool from where the motorbike leaves us. On the walk we will pass through significant caves and cliffs, with different shapes and forms carved by the ocean waves continously slapping on them during high tide. You will notice lots of smaller pools that are home to tiny colouful fish and exotic sea life such as sea spiders, the red crab, sea urchins and sea cucumber. Almost feels like a natural aquarium. At the African pool we will swim and soak in the sun for about an hour before heading back to the starting point If you are daring enough you could climb up the nearby cliffs and dive into the pool. Begin your day with a dhow cruise, a traditional Arabian sailing vessel, to the waters of the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. As you glide through the azure waters, keep your eyes peeled for playful dolphins leaping alongside the boat, providing an exhilarating display of their aquatic prowess. Upon arrival at the marine park, be greeted by a vibrant underwater world teeming with marine life and coral formations. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, experiencing the wonders beneath the surface. Swim among tropical fish and turtles, and encounter rays or reef sharks if you’re lucky. After your aquatic adventures, sail to Wasini Island. Savor a seafood lunch featuring the fresh catch of the day. Relish in the flavors of succulent seafood delicacies, prepared with local spices and culinary expertise, while enjoying the island’s tranquil ambiance and scenic views. Following lunch, take a stroll through the village on Wasini Island, interacting with the friendly residents and gaining insight into the local culture and way of life. You can also choose to take a tour of the Shimoni slave caves, a historical site offering a glimpse into the region's dark past. As the day draws to a close, board the dhow once again. On the cruise back to the mainland, relish the picturesque coastal scenery one last time, cherishing the beauty of the Kenyan coastline as the sun sets. Finally, get dropped off at your hotel.

Drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway, a distance of 45 km to the south of Diani, arriving at around 8.30 am at the Shimoni KWS for ticketing then we start the boat ride for one hour searching for dolphins. We have a light breakfast, fruit, and some soft drinks onboard. Sail to Kisite Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim for 1 to 2 hrs. Afterward, we sail back to Wasini Island for lunch mainly seafood and Swahili dishes (we have an option for the non-seafood that is vegetarian/ chicken). After lunch, you can have a village walk for about 30 minutes on the Island and then sail back to Shimoni jetty arriving at around 3:30 pm. We then proceed to Shimoni Slave caves just 200m from Shimoni jetty. Learn the history of slavery in the area while touring the cave. The cave stop takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Then you drive back to your hotel arriving at around 5:00 pm.

Embark on a half-day trip to Robinson Island from Diani Beach. Take a glass boat with a clear floor to see the underwater world, snorkel, and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Depending on the tide, be picked up from your hotel in a private tuk tuk and be dropped off at Baobab Island where you will board the glass boat. Start off the sail to the sandbank. Stop over at various spots to view the colorful fish species or you may encounter a pod of dolphins. Enjoy snorkeling at the colorful coral reefs along the Diani Beach. Have a good swimming time at the sandbank before sailing back to the Baobab Beach. A tuk tuk will drop you back to your hotel.

Day 1 You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at salt lick lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. Day 2: Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a half day game drive. Around noon you will depart for Mombasa, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is where your safari will end.

Giriama is one of the subtribes of the Mijikenda (9 tribes) people that inhabit the coastal area of Kenya. This is a unique trip to the African Village for an unforgettable, true, authentic, and un-staged African experience, interact with the locals, eat what they eat, do what they do, and talk as they talk. The tour will open a door into the daily lives of local villagers, you will understand their way of life from their point of view. The amazing part about this tour is that it is not rushed, not over-commercialized, and not staged but natural and authentic. Stop one: Ibiza Market Once the guide picks your group, you will pass by the Ibiza Market, here you will appreciate how local communities live and do trade. This is an open-air market full of activities. Traders sell multiple things ranging from fish, clothes, and food items. Stop 2. Local School You will then pass by a local community school overlooked by a huge Baobab Tree. You will have a chance to interact with joyous school kids depending on the time of the day. If you have any gifts (toys, balls, sweets, clothes, etc) feel free to share them with them. Stop 3: Madafu (coconut water) palm tree climbing and ugali preparations. You will then pass by a home where "madafu" will be prepared, feel free to taste it as you learn the health benefits of coconut water and why it's a delicacy in the coastal area. The host will then climb the coconut tree to demonstrate how palm wine is harvested, and how coconuts are harvested. if there will be time, you can also prepare cashew nuts and see how the locals do it manually. Stop 4: Traditional healer (Mganga) You will then visit the traditional healer a respected medicine man who used traditional herbs to heal many deceases. Here villagers still subscribe to unconventional medicine that they believe are solutions to most of the ailments. You will have a chance to be taken through how they make the medicine from traditional herbs and how this skill is passed over to generations. Stop 5: Dance Arena You will then be guided through the cool narrow streets of Mwamanga village. The next stop will be the dance area where you will dance your problems away. Each dance has a meaning from wedding dances, celebrations dances to funeral dances You will be invited to dance several dances of the Giriama people.
