From Sydney: Private Day Trip to Royal National Park

9. From Sydney: Private Day Trip to Royal National Park

Start with a pickup from your accommodation and then commence the drive to the Royal National Park. Upon reaching the park, we will have a short stop at the serene Audley Weir. From here, choose between visiting Wedding Cake Rock, Eagle Rock or a walk in the rainforest. The first two places provide the opportunity to see wonderful coastal scenery. Your guide will outline the walk times and differences between the two. The third walk is particularly suited to hotter days as the rainforest offers a cooler environment. If you'd prefer not to do the walks we can visit several places further south of the park, such as the Otford Lookout, Stanwell Tops Beach and the iconic Imperial at Clifton Hotel. On the Wedding Cake Rock walk, admire dramatic coastal views of cliffs and unusual sandstone formations, with stops at the Balconies and the Water run. Upon arrival, discover an amazingly large piece of white sandstone, resembling the shape of a wedding cake. Watch as it sparkles against the background of the blue Pacific Ocean. A little further on is spectacular Marley Beach, which is best appreciated from a high lookout point. Marley Beach is an expansive landscape as the beach sand merges into sand dunes. Behind the dunes is a pristine reeded lagoon. Choose the Eagle Rock walk and follow a track that passes waterfalls, cliffs, and gullies. See native plants including Wattles, Banksias, Grass Trees, Gymea Lillies, and Eucalypts. Upon arrival at Eagle Rock admire crystal clear Curracurrong Creek as it reaches the cliff edge and becomes a waterfall that drops directly into the ocean. The waterfall drops 40 meters into a shallow bay and if sunny the ocean water takes on a translucent green color. If the surf is up you'll hear the pounding waves hit the cliff face below. After either Eagle Rock or Wedding Cake Rock, venture to Wattamolla, which has a wide waterfall dropping into a lagoon. The lagoon then forms into a stream that gently meanders to the nearby beach. УЖАС!!! ФРАНЦИИ СТОИТ ПОДУМАТЬ О СВОЕМ ВЕЛИЧИИ!!!

Max was very knowledgeable and clearly explained many historical events. In a meaningful way. Obviously well qualified and educated in history. While 2 1/2 hours seems long, the time went quickly and the walk was easy to navigate. Thanks to Max for a worthwhile experience.

Absolutely amazing. A must see when in Sydney. The view was spectacular and the food was to die for! Friendly service and a great selection of foods. Only downfall was I didn’t have enough time to eat all the food lol.

The view is breathtaking. Most of the food was in the 9 to 10 category. However, the crab I would rate as a four. From the picture, it looks like snow crab, but it was mud crab. no flavor.

This was a beautiful cruise, friendly staff and amazing food!

absolutely amazing our tour guide nick was awesome
