I hop in at Basilica de Guadalupe and just hop off at Zócalo and I went all the way back to Zocalo. I havent some any hop off bcs of time. Tour centro historico took 3 hours on a Thursday with traffic. Centro historico I can recommend. It was awesome. Basilica was awesome too.Staff at the bus was was nice. The waiting time was 19 minutes and at Zocalo for changing the bus 20 minutes. It is cheap if u want to do it by yourself. I would not recommend after 6 bcs its dark and some people are strange or look dangerous even at day at Basilica near the wall and outside where u have shops. But at Zócalo there is a lot of police.
It was a great experience. The Turibus made it so easy to get around and helps to see/visit the main attractions in Mexico City. There are banners on certain light posts to help identify the hop on/hop off locations. As for the time for the bus to come back around depends on the traffic. But I usually asked the staff on the bus for a estimated time when they will come back to that location: which helped to plan what to do in that amount of time before they come back. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. I definitely recommend going on the Turibus when visiting!
You can't get more Mexican than luche libre wrestling. The atmosphere at Arena Mexico was intoxicating, the wrestlers were entertaining and the beer was flowing. Leaving the purchase of tickets and transport details to Amigo Tours took away any stress and allowed me to relax and enjoy the night. The pre-event run down on luche libre and tequila shots with the charismatic bartender at Hostel Amigo had the group pumped and ready for a great night out. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of my stay in Mexico City.
The tour is nice! When you meet then there’s a bus to hop on. We receive a mask, a small shot of tequila and the guide starts explaining about the “lucha libre”. When they drop us off we have a few minutes to wander around the market And then we receive the tickets to get in. It was a bit confusing this part because the guide seats everyone. It took around 20 to seat us. The seats are very far back but you can see the arena. The wrestling Was very cool!
I was instructed to arrive at six and to not be late. When I got there the hostel door-guy told me it wasn't until 7:30. Really wished I would have known that beforehand. Otherwise our guide was excellent (Sandy, I think) She was knowledgeable and helpful, and very ready to answer questions . The event was awesome. Safety~wise the area was overall fine and I think you should definitely go.
