Our guide Katja picked us up in our hotel and we started the tour at lubyanka station. Passing the KGB building she told us about that period in time when many people were imprisoned and killed by the gouvernement. Katja told us a lot about Russian history and showed us many many beautiful stations. She really knows all the facts and figures and we got a lovely souvenir from Moscow metro. Thank you Katja for a great underground tour, we enjoyed it from the start till the end.
Natalia was our guide on this tour and she was excellent. Her knowledge of the content of the museum was impressive and her English language skills were excellent. She was very accommodating and couldn't have been more helpful. Even though the gallery is huge we did not feel rushed. Very reliable communication in the lead up to the tour and she went out of her way to help organise another tour for us the following day. Thank you Natalia you made the day memorable.
The guide Sofia was outstanding! She was friendly, came to pick me up at the hotel, and provided an excellent tour of the area. I enjoyed the historical insights as well as local stories about the main Moscow highlights. I strongly recommend this tour to the visitors in the city, with particular recommendation for the guide Sofia. Thank you for providing me with this unique experience.
We had Sofia as our guide on our Kremlin and Red Square tour. She was excellent. Her knowledge of Russian history was great and she was able to explain everything we had questions about. She was also very patient with us. She was also great with her communication before the tour. Would go on other tours with her and recommend her to other English speaking visitors.
We got lost on the way to the meeting point but our guide waited for us which was much appreciated. We were the only people on the tour so he was able to tailor it to suit our needs. It was very useful having someone to explain the details in the Lenin mausoleum and the metro station, and to give us a potted history of communist Russia.
