The St Georgios is a beautiful luxury yacht that will take your breath away. Join us and relax on this family cruise, you can meet us at the boat or we can arrange transfers from local resorts and back again. This facility is available when you book. We will leave Protaras behind us as we head towards Famagusta to view the ghost town of Varosha, and learn about what happened back in 1974 to divide this beautiful island. Then, hugging the coastline, we pass Fig Tree Bay before arriving in the Cape Greco National Park Area where you will see the Agioi Anargyri Church, Lovers Bridge and the Sancta Maria Shrine. These really are instagram moments! Steering in the direction of the beautiful Blue Lagoon, we will moor the boat so that you can take a dip in the turquoise waters before we tempt your taste buds with our delicious BBQ chicken, home made chipped potatoes, Cyprus cous cous, salad, bread & Tzatziki, Cypriot Style. For our vegetarian Friends we have a vegetarian patty, and to keep the kids happy we can prepare chicken nuggets. Please request these at the time of check in for the cruise. Our bar will be open throughout the cruise where you can purchase drinks and snacks, or you can always upgrade to our inclusive package of unlimited wine, soft drinks and fruit juice As we re-trace our tracks back to Protaras we will pop into Turtle bay where we hope you will experience the unforgettable thrill of swimming with turtles. Sailing past the picturesque coastline of Protaras you can look through the beautiful pictures that you have taken during your cruise and share the precious memories with friends and family, using the free WiFi. At the end of your cruise, we will return those with transfers back to their resorts. Please note, that once our transfer bus is full, we will remove the option to purchase the cruise with a transfer from the listing.

This trip takes you to the beautiful coastal town of Famagusta and it's famous "Ghost Town" Varosha. Enjoy free time in Famagusta Old Town Centre and it's Venetian Walls. Walk around or visit Gothic church of Saint Nicolas and Othello Castle (optional extra, not included in the price) or use free time for a lunch (optional extra). Visit Monastery of Saint Barnabas (optionally) and the ancient city-kingdom of Salamis. Use unique opportunity to walk in the newly opened part of Varosha, also known as the "Ghost Town". Enjoy free time in Famagusta Golden beach.

The first stop will be Choirokoitia for a coffee break before continuing to Strovilia check point (passports necessary) to cross the United Nations Green Line. We will arrive at the monastery of St Barnabas which has now been converted into a museum housing icons and other religious artefact. We will also see the tomb of St Barnabas. We continue to the ancient Kingdom of Salamis built in the 12th Century BC and visit the amphitheatre and gymnasium. We arrive in the city of Famagusta with its many Gothic churches and surrounded by Venetian walls. There will be time to visit the Cathedral of St Nikolaos built in 1312 and converted in 1570 into a mosque as well as free time for sightseeing, shopping, and lunch (not included). Finally, short walking to visit part of the “Ghost Town – Varosi” to see the abandoned houses and hotels which have been closed off behind wire since 1974 and admire the best sandy beaches of the island. Important: Passport or EU ID (only for EU citizens) required. There are 4 nationalities: Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Syria & Armenia cannot cross the checkpoint.

A combination of Land-and-sea tour featuring a full day of adventurous swimming and sightseeing across eastern Cyprus. This will be one of the most exciting and interesting experience you will remember from Cyprus since you will be travelling beyond the “green line”, which divides the two Cypriot communities since 1974. We will start by visiting Derynia village and the View Point of Famagusta. Here you will be introduced to how life was in Famagusta including the Varoshia tourist area before the invasion in 1974. Next we will drive towards the checkpoint where we will cross into the North of the island, occupied by the Turkish army, and then pass by the ‘ghost city’ where no visitors are allowed to enter. Furthermore, we will explore the old city with its amazing Venetian walls, take photos, shop around or relax and have a coffee. You may also visit the Othello Tower and from the top take amazing photos. After experiencing this unique visit to Famagusta and as the temperature rises, we will make our way towards the beautiful beaches of the East, where we will board our cruise boat and sail along the coastline taking in the views of the various coves and sea caves. Our next stop, one of the highlights of the trip is at the bluest bay, the ‘Blue Lagoon. Famous for its crystal-clear waters here you will be able to relax, swim or snorkel. Snorkelling equipment is provided on board free of charge. During this picturesque and memorable cruise, we will have the opportunity to stop for another swim. A delicious lunch prepared by our chef accompanied by a complimentary local drink will be served on board.

Behind its barbed wire enclosures, this once-thriving holiday resort has remained frozen in time, encapsulating a poignant tale of the past. After passing the border control, we visit Salamis, founded by Teucer, in 1180 BC, just after his return from the Trojan War. We will visit the theater, the spa, and the gym. Here is where St. Barnabas was born and killed, the saint who had accompanied St. Paul during his journey through Cyprus. We will continue to the medieval city of Famagusta, whose mighty walls symbolize the city’s glory of its historic past and the need to defend itself against attacks from enemies. Next, we will visit the Cathedral of St. Nicholas (converted into the mosque of Lala Mustafa Pasha) in which, at the time of the Lusignani, the coronation of many of the rulers of Cyprus and Jerusalem took place. We will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of Famagusta and see from the outside the citadel and the tower of Othello. Finally there will be a walk through the streets of Varosha, also known as Ghost town after the conflict of 1974. NOTE: You must have your passport/ID card during this excursion.
