We offer a traveling excursion just for you, with one part by boat and the other in the forest to discover several places different every day. Day 1 Pick up at Leticia airport and transfer to the civilian port. Discovery of the market square and typical lunch (fish ceviche or grilled meat) in the city center Departure by boat on the Amazon River to the Tikuna village on the shore of the lake. Trek in primary forest, observation, and interpretation of fauna and flora. Night walk to observe snakes, tarantulas, and insects in the high forest and flood zones. Night in a cozy cabin on the shore of the lake in the village of Tikuna Day 2 Boat trip and observation of pink dolphins and gray dolphins, piranha fishing, and observation of caimans by boat at night. Night in a comfortable cabin in the middle of the primary forest. Day 3 Walk in the forest to observe the monkeys, return to the village to pack, and return comfortably to Leticia to take the flight. Local guides accompany you during your stay on hikes in the rainforest and on boat trips on the Amazon River. DAY 1 Departure from Leticia at 9 a.m. 1 hour boat tour on the Amazon River to the indigenous village. Approximately 20 minutes walk to the house of a local indigenous family. DAY 1: We will leave Leticia at 8 a.m. by bus to reach the twenty kilometer distant starting point. We start walking towards the jungle; this first walk goes until approximately 4 p.m. In the middle of the jungle we will take our break for lunch. Then we set up the camp where we will spend the first night. We rest once the camp is finished for our night walk. We return from the walk, have dinner and rest. DAY 2: We will wake up in the middle of the jungle and start the day with a healthy breakfast to continue our trail to the Calderon River. We have lunch in the middle of the trail. Approximately at 2 p.m. we arrive at our destination where we will spend the next 2 nights. It is a small house in the middle of the jungle where a hermit grandfather lives. Once here, we will have the opportunity to experience jungle life where we will go fishing, swimming, enjoy the landscapes and fruits of the jungle, spot different species (monkeys, wild boars, snakes, insects and birds). At night we will find some wildlife. We return to the camp, have dinner and rest. DAY 3: We start the day with a nutritious breakfast. During the day we do different walks in the middle of the jungle, fishing, swimming, lunch and enjoy the place. We return home in the afternoon to rest, have dinner and prepare our luggage for the return trip. DAY 4: We start the day with a healthy breakfast before we start the hike back to Leticia. On the way we will again have the opportunity to observe wild animals in their natural habitat. We have lunch on the way back. Finally we arrive in Leticia at 4 pm. Return to accommodation in Leticia where you will spend the night.

This 4-day trip is designed for bold travelers who want to have an authentic and deeper connection with nature and locals. Day 1 The journey will start at Leticia’s airport. Afterwards you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch on a floating restaurant. You will visit Leticia and the famous Parque de los loros (Park of parrots). At the end of the day you will try Capirinha a typical Amazonian and Brazilian cocktail. You will spend the night in Leticia. Day 2 Then, on the second day you will visit Puerto Nariño, a beautiful small town with no cars and amazing views. You will make a stop on the Peruvian Amazon to visit an indigenous community. You will also visit a natural reservoir to see the marvelous Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then, in Puerto Nariño you will head to the hotel. You will be able to decide whether you want to tour around the town or rest the rest of the day. Day 3 On this day you will leave to Puerto Nariño to go to San Antonio del Cacao, a Peruvian island. You will go in search of sloths and to explore the flora and fauna and learn from the region and its history. You will go back to Puerto Nariño and you will take another boat to Tarapoto Lake. You will spend the night in a hut in front of the river. Here, you will be able to swim, fish, walk around and enjoy a night firepit. (If chosen, you can have a night safari). Day 4 On the last day you will enjoy the morning in Tarapoto lake and afterwards you will go back to Puerto Nariño and then back to Leticia to finish your trip.

Day 1 - Transportation from the hotel you have booked (in Leticia) to the dock where we will be waiting for you, public boat transportation to Puerto Nariño. General information from the guides and check-in of private rooms, you will start discovering our town in which 3 different indigenous communities share a living, visiting the monkey spotting place to interact with them and having a delicious typical lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a small boat to spot pink and grey dolphins. At night you will have the Tarantula Night Safari and a typical dinner. Accommodation will be done in private rooms, with private bathrooms and electricity. Day 2 - Breakfast, We will navigate from Puerto Nariño for 15 minutes to Peru and then enter the longest and mightiest river in the world, the Amazon, a natural wonder of the World. You will arrive in San Antonio where you will do an amazing jungle trail to spot the biggest species of trees in the Amazon. Opportunity to spot wildlife during the trail. Typical Lunch in the Community. After lunch, you will explore the Tarapoto lakes, pink and grey dolphins, and animal sightseeing on the shore of the lake. At night you will do the night tour safari on a boat. Accommodation will be done in private rooms, with private bathrooms and electricity (same room). Day 3 - Breakfast, You will explore a jungle trekking on a different landscape with hills, visit a native reserve and have the opportunity to spot monkeys and bird watching. Typical lunch and visit the Puerto Nariño Sightseeing tower, try delicious natural ice cream and transfer to Leticia with the 3 pm boat arriving around 5 pm. We will give you the transfer to hotels in Leticia Area.

Visit a natural reservoir to see the Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos, and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then, head to your hotel in Puerto Nariño. You can then decide whether you want to tour the town or rest for the rest of the day. Day 4 From Puerto Nariño, go to San Antonio del Cacao, a Peruvian island. Search for sloths, explore the flora and fauna, and learn about the region and its history. Go back to Puerto Nariño and take another boat to Tarapoto Lake. Spend the night in a hut by the river. Swim, fish, walk around, and enjoy a nighttime fire pit. Day 5 On the last day, enjoy the morning at Tarapoto Lake. Afterwards, go back to Puerto Nariño, and then back to Leticia to finish your trip.

Day 1: The tour starts at 9:00 am from Hostel Casa de las Palmas in Leticia, Colombia. You’ll be driven to the Tacana River for a two-hour jungle hike to a Huitoto maloca. After lunch, there’s a hike to the Colombia-Brazil border for wildlife spotting. Back at the maloca, learn about the mambe process and the significance of the coca plant for the Huitoto. In the evening, join a guided nocturnal jungle walk. Spend the night in the maloca in a hammock. Day 2: On day two, hike back to the road and return to Leticia by van. After a brief village stop, take an exciting boat journey along the Amazon and Yavari rivers to Sacambu Lodge in the flooded jungle between Brazil and Peru. Enjoy lunch, go boat fishing for piranhas, and explore the Yavari River for pink and gray dolphins. Take a refreshing swim in a lake, witness the sunset, and return to the lodge for dinner. Embark on a thrilling boat expedition to spot caimans and, depending on the season, enjoy a captivating night hike through the flooded jungle. The adventure continues in the mysterious darkness of the jungle! Day 3: On the morning of the third day, cruise along the Sacambu River, immersing yourself in its stunning landscape. Visit a small Peruvian village, where you’ll encounter the colossal Arapaima gigas, the world’s largest river fish. Observe playful monkeys and, depending on the water level of the Amazon River, choose between a boat journey or a walk through the flooded jungle. The tour concludes with your return to Leticia around 5:00 pm.
