Its design is bold and modern, and symbolic of the aspirations of the newly independent country. Next you’ll see Thean Hou Temple, one of the oldest and largest temples in South East Asia. Located to the southwest of the city, it is a popular tourist attraction. The 6-tiered Buddhist temple is also known as the Temple of the Goddess of Heaven, who is said to protect fishermen. There is also a shrine to Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Built by KL’s Hainanese community in 1894, which is set on a hill and offers wonderful views of the city. Enjoy a short stop at a Sikh gurdwara before visiting the Brickfield Church and returning to your hotel. Note that the tour includes not only religious sites but also other attractions such as the National Monument, the Old Railway station, Independence Square, and the Petronas Twin towers.

The tour is worthwhile for anyone who wants to have a close look at the different religions. Our guide Ramesh picked us up from the hotel and answered all our questions. He explained the different rituals and knew very well about the religions and temples. Ramesh told us again and again secret tips for Kuala Lumpur that are nowhere else to be found. The tour is worthwhile and is absolutely worth the price.

The tour guide Kalai was friendly and informative. We visited among others, the Batu Caves, National Mosque, Thean Hou temple, China town market. At the end I enjoyed lunch in Little India. I recommend everyone to try out there the mango juice, masala tea and the traditional banana leaf. Very good experience.

The tour was fantastic, we were lucky to be the only participants and therefore we could chat to the driver and get an insight into the life here. Highly recommended!

Very great guide and driver in one person. Showed us really interesting sights. He responded to our individual wishes. I can only recommend.

Great tour with great guide. Very attentive and flexible
