A fantastic evening! And seriously there is so much food that we didn’t eat for nearly a day afterwards! Tim, our guide, was great. He first took us to a Malaysian street food area and we sampled a number of dishes. Then we went to the Chinese night market and had all sorts of things from the stalls. Before going to the final stop of an Indian restaurant for various roti Tim took us around Kuala Lumpar to see a flower market and sweet stalks. Also at the end of the evening he took us to see more of the city
The Guide, Nantha, made the trip exceptional. He was jovial, very knowledgeable, very patient. He explained everything in detail and gave ample time to enjoy it. Excellent tour!! The guide gave us TWO hours of his time. I was coping with a foot injury and not once did he rush me, so I felt very comfortable! Great person. The fact that he was " eye candy" did not hurt one bit!
I ended up getting a private tour, which made getting around much easier. Tour guide was super considerate about allowing me to finish the food and try a lot of options. I was STUFFED by the end. I didn't eat dinner that night, and I didn't eat a whole lot the next day either. It's a lot of food. Enjoy! (We didn't go to Chow Kit, and other tours do. So just be aware of that.)
Really reasonable ja good tour! I took a tour on the 4. Feb and our driver/guide Ayyanar was really friendly, knowledgeable and spoke english really well. He talked about the life and history of Malaysia and we wisited several historical tempels and landmarks (tempels, mosque, etc). Really recommend, a good way to see Kuala Lumpur and Batu Caves in a half-day.
This is a great tour. It was the highlight of our time in Singapore. We traveled by local train to several neighborhoods that had Malay, Indian, Chinese, and other cuisines. We also went to a local market and learned about the various foods. The tour took us through local sights such as Merdeka Square and the River of Life.
