What people are saying about Berlin

Good way to get around and get a base feel for Berlin

We managed to get through both tours A and B on the one day so we could figure out where to focus on the next day as we had a 48 hr ticket. The buses were good but the constant stopping for breaks (usually smoke breaks by drivers) was annoying. The commentary was only so so and didn’t often match up to where we were. What was good was the frequency.

Easy way to see main landmarks if you have time constraint

I had only 1 day in Berlin and in addition to that some mobility constraints due to my health issues. Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour is the easiest way to see the most interesting parts of the city. The tour was accompanied with live comments in English and German. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to see the city but has some time limitations.

A good introduction to the sights of Berlin

Bright yellow bus. easy to see. Headsets easy to plug in. Commentary in many languages. Purple route covers most points of interest. Choose 2 or 3 stops to explore. Purple bus route takes 1 hour 40 minutes but allow another 3 hours for stops to get the best of your trip.

Best of Berlin: Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour Ticket Reviewed by Frank, 10/31/2018

No boat trips in winter, and ticket was difficult to obtain

It was difficult to convince the people working there that the ticket was valid, I'm not sure if they were looking for a barcode to scan. There was no boat ride and I couldnt even get on the Route B bus because they said it was not valid.

Information is good but the variable routes is very confusing

Note that different buses on B routes will sometimes go clockwise or counter clockwise we jumped on to a bus ahead of us to avoid a 20 pause to find ourselves going sideways and back to previous stations!
