Head to Romney Manor and explore the grounds of this 18th-century site, transformed into one of St. Kitts' most stunning botanical gardens. Recently renamed Mt Misery now Mount Liamuiga is a stratovolcano that stands tall on the northern end of St Kitts. Come and learn how this volcano has shaped most of our island. Enjoy a scenic drive to a volcano, as you learn of our island passing through our capital city, academic areas, and other communities such as a former slave "free village". Also, uncover a sugar estate and botanical garden. Learn about nature and livestock, such as Vervet Monkeys. Going through some farms and former sugarcane fields, we'll hike from 700 Ft. to approx. 3000 Ft. of height of our volcano's 3, 793 ft. summit. Overlook the volcano's crater, with a panoramic view of the community below, along with a view of the neighboring island's volcano.

Travel by bus from Port Zante in our city of Basseterre for approximately 25 minutes to the Southern Peninsula, with a brief stop at Timothy Hill where the Atlantic Ocean is on your left and the Caribbean Sea on your right for a great photo opportunity. Onwards to Cockleshell Beach, upon arrival, you'll receive a welcome drink (a rum punch or a fruit punch) and be given a lounge chair to use. You can rent umbrellas ($10USD) and purchase food and beverages at your own expense. Just kick back and soak in the natural beauty and the views of the aqua blue water and the island of Nevis. Travel along the northeastern coastline of the island to come across spectacular vistas of the ocean, surf, cliffs, and lush vegetation surrounding you. Cross tall steel bridges spanning deep canyons and make your way through small villages and farms. See dark green rainforests skirted by rippling fields of sugar cane, with the volcanic cone of Mt. Liamuiga rising above the railway. Allow your guide to point out all the sights as the train passes old sugar cane estates with abandoned windmills and chimneys. Discover Brimstone Hill Fortress and Old Road Town, where Sir Thomas Warner, founder of the English colony on St. Kitts is buried. Switch to a spacious bus to complete a full circle around the island before driving back to the port.
