What people are saying about Belgrade
We were meet by Bojan (Guide) and Stefan (Driver) and we were the only passengers. Headed to the Manasija Monastery which is about 2 hours from Belgrade with a stop on the motorway for a morning tea break. Informal tour of Monastery by Bojan and then some free time to explore the area. Next stop was Resava Cave and did a tour with the guide from the caves complex as well as Bojan who did most of the talking. Very spectacular cave but felt a bit rushed but that could be a restriction by the caves people. After this headed to Lisine Waterfall. We accessed the falls via the back entrance which just required a short decent and then climb on the return trip but was worth the extra walking. From here we headed to Restaurant Lepo Mestro for lunch. All the surrounding area (inc the caves and waterfall) are covered in beautiful snow so after lunch we went for a short walk along the road to admire the snow. From here we then headed back to Belgrade where we were dropped at our accommodation.
Really nice day trip, and lots of nice stops along the way. We had 2 hours of free time in Novi Sad, in addition to stopping in a charming town for a wine tasting, a monestary, and fortress with beautiful views over the city. Our guide Jelica was super friendly and knowledgable. Would recommend for a nice chill day with some walking, outside of Belgrade.
This tour was extraordinary. We learned a lot about Serbian history in a condensed and understandable way. Konstantin is a wonderful guide. The wine tasting in Sremski Karlovci showed once again what wonderful wines are produced in Serbia. I highly recommend this tour and will be touring with Victor Tours again.
Great tour. Not too long not too short. Loved the locations and the wine tasting. If I have to change something, maybe I wll add about 30 more minutes to Novi Sad.
What an amazing tour! We would definitely recommend if you are considering to book. Outstanding guide and the history is so interesting.
