Majestic Gros Piton Hiking Day Trip

Majestic Gros Piton Hiking Day Trip

It's only a 4-mile walk up and down the tree-covered symbol of Saint Lucia- that is, up a winding trail that climbs the steep, rain forest-covered slopes of a 2,619 foot volcanic mountain. Periodically, the trees give way to breathtaking vistas of the emerald-green island and the too-blue waters of the Caribbean. Guides are mandatory, but full of knowledge. The caves once used as shelters by freedom fighters of the Brigand war, brightly colored tropical birds and lush vegetation that includes giant gommiers (used to make canoes), the smaller swizzlestick tree ( used to make swizzle sticks) and "peeling tourists" - trees with flaky brown bark that looks painfully familiar to anyone who's fallen asleep on the beach without sunblock.

Paradise Seekers Saint Lucia has been perfect and with our guide Samanta we have enjoyed this excursion to visit the island, in English. Punctuality and good explanations, mud bath and swim in the waterfall, with a good lunch. Thank you very much, Sherise for your attention and for your magnificent country. Many thanks from Spain.

We had an absolutely AMAZING tour of such a beautiful island! Lloyd was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He took a lot of pictures and videos for us as well. I can’t say enough about the tour - we learned and saw so much and can’t wait to return. 10/10!!

What a great tour! We had a lot of fun with the captain and Mr. Trouble Bubble. Sulfur springs, waterfall, a fast boat ride with 600 hp in the stern (great explanations about the island and the inhabitants) and above all: A LOT OF FUN!!! Thanks for the day 🫶🏽

Daniel was a delight and I would highly recommend him. He navigated us through some difficulties with lunch and brought us to some quiet, serene locations.

Great tour with a great guide who gives you energy throughout the excursion
