What a way to get an introduction to hiking in the Himalayas! Four days of 'Nepali Flat' you're not likely to forget, as long as you remember to go slowly-slowly. I had the absolute pleasure of hiking with Santosh Boss as my guide, and the *lovelier* surprise of being able to hike just the two of us. Santosh is a knowledgeable, friendly and cheeky local with over 10-years hiking experience. He seemed to either know every local on the trek, or made the effort to chat and check in with all along the way. He is mindful of pace and effort, and reads his clients well to ensure they are enjoying the adventure but also capable of continuing. The journey features an awful lot of 'up', so ensure you've done some time on the stairs before attending, but the clear views and gorgeous landscape are all worth the effort. Tea-house stays were a great way to experience local life, as well. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to dip their toes in.

We had a great time. If my friends go to Nepal, I would definitely recommend this place to them. It would take too long to list all the good points, so I'll just summarize the main points below. ・The advance contact after booking was detailed and they responded quickly to our questions, so we felt at ease. ・The pick-up and drop-off times were also accurate. ・All the accommodations were excellent and perfect. ・Our guide, Akke, was very kind. During the trekking, he took breaks while watching our physical strength, so both my wife and I were able to trek very comfortably. He also made sure we were not cold at the accommodations, and lent us extra blankets and hot water bottles. He was a guide that made me want to ask him for help again when I come to Nepal.

We loved the experience, we would highly recommend the activity, the guide, and the company. The views were absolutely breathtaking all over but especially at the top of Poon Hill - worth the early morning start and steep walking. We highly recommend Santos as a guide, he was very helpful and very happy and very knowledgeable about the entire area we were walking in and beyond. The company we booked through, Snow Peak, was also good and kept us updated.

Snow peak travel agency and Santosh our guide were wonderfull. He is very knowledgeable of the Himalayas and tells you about the area. The guide fixed everything for us, the route, the food and the rooms at the hotels. Trackinging was dofficoult but Santosh supported us the whole way. Views were amazing.

Thanks to Tanka for this 4 day trek to Poon Hill. Always concerned about whether everything is going well for us. I recommend.
