We enjoyed using the Brussels Card - we enjoy visiting museums and found most museums to be within a 15 -20 minute walk from the Grand Place area. We were able to visit 14 museums with in our 72 hour card. It was a value for the admissions we would have spent if we’d paid individually for the admissions. We barely used the bus option as most museums were close - only 5 trips during one day to go out to the far reaching locations. We found we broke even on what we spent for the card. Buying a one day transportation card might be a better option.

It was super practical to use the card firstly for transport, no need to think about which transport ticket to buy! I was able to take advantage of entrance to the museums several times, it was very interesting for the price. The only remark I could make is the display of the location on the Grand'Place which may need to be worked on because it is difficult to find the place to collect the card. The Belgians being very kind quickly helped me find where it was 😊

We managed to fit a lot into a small amount of time by using the trams to get to each destination or museum we wanted to go. The trams did stop working at one point in our trip but were back up and running within the hour. We did think the city itself was quite run down in a lot of places, and felt a little bit unsafe. But when you were in the parts that were safe, there was a lot to do and a lot of the buildings were amazing to look at.

The city card is very convenient even for a 3-day trip. I bought the 24-hour card and used it fully. The transport, especially the metro, works perfectly and with the card you are faster. The nice thing is that you activate it when you enter a museum but you do not activate transport immediately as happens in other places. They have two separate activations. I recommend it for being able to move around

Great value for money! We got into a number of museums around the city and the hop on hop off helped us get around quicker. Def download the To-ot app and then you get live updates on the bus times and pick ups makes it super easy to plan your day
