An excellent day trip from Madrid. Yes, this is a long day. But, overall well-balanced with enough time for sightseeing and time to relax in the vehicle. Both Ávila and Salamanca are lovely cities. (And I’ve been to Segovia and Toledo which are more common day trips from Madrid and enjoyed Ávila and Salamanca more.) Our driver and both city guides were wonderful. Highest ratings—from highly experienced world travelers (more than 60 counties and all 7 continents). First time we used Get Your Guide and we will be back.

We traveled to Salamanca for the exhibit. We discovered the charm of this enchanting city. Having the exhibit in the cathedral added to the historical and solemn atmosphere. Recommendation: go early to take your time and avoid the crowd.

great & very informative. since it was Thurs, our tour with Martoke was like a private tour for me & my partner. she even explained some in Spanish since my partner is fr Madrid and gave us some tips to visit after the tour.

Really liked this trip even on this rainy day. Learned a lot about the Spanish history.
