Svolvær: Northern Lights and Full Steam Cruise with Tasting

As we leave the harbour of Svolvær, we will set out in the direction of Full Steam near the town of Henningsvær. On the way and if conditions allow, we will deploy our underwater drone to explore the underwater world. Our guides will share information of what we see and keep an eye out for the Northern Lights we might spot along the way. About 1 hour into the tour we step on land at Full Steam at the outskirts of the historic fishing village of Henningsvær. We will visit this 200 year old cod steaming warehouse where you'll hear tales and stories of the the fishing history and culture of the region. Taste a bite of true Norwegian caviar to bring the stories alive. Around 21:00 we jump back aboard and sail closer to Henningsvær before we set back out into the darkness of Vestfjorden where we'll have the opportunities to see the magical Northern Lights if the weather allows. We'll slowly make our way along the 'wall of lofoten' with rugged peaks towards our home port in Svolvær.

This trip took me off the main road and through some beautiful areas in the mountains and down to Hennigsvaer. Can’t speak highly enough of Lucas our guide. He was fantastic and very knowledgeable, and a good safe driver!

lucas was so knowledgeable, energetic and helpful. He took us to many amazing scenes and tols us a lot history about them. Any problem will get reply soon. Definitely will recommend to others.
