What people are saying about Naples
Vincenzo was excellent (he lived in New York)! He even offered to let us contact him later in our trip for restaurant recommendations. It was a treat to be escorted by a native driver in a clear, cool car. The day was very well organized and efficient — we could not have planned all of these activities ourselves, and each part of the day was just as fun as the last. I recommend paying extra for the guide in Pompeii, as she provided additional context that we would have otherwise missed. Make sure to budget an additional €75-125 per person for the tickets and food (or €225-375 total). All around, it was a fabulous day!
We had a wonderful visit throughout the museum. Our guide Nicoletta met us outside the museum 10 minutes prior to our scheduled time. She ushered us in prioritizing our collection visits so that we had no almost no other people around us! She is a true archeologist that has been on many digs! Her explanations helped us understand our visits to Pompei and Herculaneum. She knew the elevator access helped us secure a lost bag successfully and explained every collection perfectly. Some of the best things are very small! It was a great day in a great museum!
What an amazing tour! Beautiful sites, fun and educational. Martha was excellent and fun! We enjoyed everything this tour had to offer. 100% recommended!!
This is the best way to understand the city’s history and culture to decide which area and activities you want to focus on.
Really nice small museum. Worth visiting when seeing the cathedral.
