What people are saying about Abu Simbel

Overall rating

based on 1 reviews

We left the hotel at 4.10 in the morning, at 8 we already arrived in Abu Simbel, there were other tourists in the car, the guides took everything apart and went on individual excursions. I liked everything, except for the mini bus, I am 160cm tall, even I did not have enough legroom, my knees rested on the front seat, my neck was numb. There was no lunch, but there was a stop near the "shop".

Be prepared to be up before dawn for a 3 hour journey to Abu Simbel. Tariq made good time on the road. Mohammed was a good guide helping fill in some history and details of the interior. Two hours at the site is sufficient and then back on the road to Aswan. Enjoyable and no complaints. Definitely a good value for a hassle free excursion.

The driver was on time for the pick up and we got a free upgrade to a private car because of the Covid19 situation. The guided tour in Abu Simbel was very good and the site was spectacular! Thanks a lot Mr Walid gor this amazing day!

The excursion was perfectly organized, which included advance information, punctual transfer, pick-up in Aswan, as well as very good tour guide, very good German, great knowledge of history. Thank you!
