Our guide, John, has a PhD in imperial and maritime history and was absolutely incredible I providing us with an understanding of Liverpool’s development over the centuries. Would certainly recommend anyone who is interested in Liverpool’s history as a point of global trade and what that has meant for the city.

our guide was really kind to accept us even when we were a little bit late, and he make sure we could catch up on the missed details. he also made sure to explain and show as much of the city in those two hours, in a very well organized tour highlighting the important historic landmarks

John, our tour guide, was excellent. He made the tour so interesting and was always happy and able to answer questions. The history of Liverpool is so fascinating. A must do tour when going to Liverpool.

Husband wanted to visit and honestly I expected to be bored, but it was really interesting and fun, would definitely recommend a visit.

Great tour with Dave. He has academic credentials, great story telling and made every minute worthwhile. Highly recommend!
