At the base of the arch, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier pays tribute to the 1.3 million French soldiers who died in World War I. Behold the eternal flame that is rekindled at 6.30 PM each evening. In addition, there is a must-see exhibition that explains the symbolic importance of this monument. The view from the top of the arch is worth climbing the 284 stairs. What people are saying about Paris

Really good bus tour, the audio was informative and funny. The stop was easy to find using the map on their site. The Seine tour was ok but it was a real person speaking and she spoke mostly in French (which she would being in France of course) and then translated to English by which time we had sometimes already passed the attraction she was speaking about but the boat tour itself is a good way to see the tourist attractions. I would recommend both tours.

A really nice way to see the city and learn about the history. We also used it for our transportation around the city. VERY PLEASED!!!

Using the skip the line pass got us ushered into an elevator to the top within minutes. Loved it!

Nice activity for some good-time on evening to wrap-up a first-time trip to Paris

Excentric and amazing show you shouldn’t miss when visiting Paris
