Le Marais Pastries Food Tour offers a delightful experience, but there are a few aspects that could be improved. One key critique is the timing of the tour. It’s better to start the tour later in the morning, ideally after 10:30 AM. The early start, while it may seem like an advantage, doesn’t align well with the opening hours of several bakeries. Some of the pastries are not as fresh or fully prepared early on, which can be a letdown. Starting later allows for a better variety of freshly baked goods, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, the exploration of hidden gems or less touristy locations makes the tour feel more unique and special. Rachel was informative and patient with sharing stories about the food shops we visited.

I had an amazing tour with Camila! She was super friendly and engaging- I was very impressed by how well she knew the history of the neighborhood, and it was really cool getting to learn about the modern elements and how the area has changed over time. She also pointed out a lot of hidden street art- it felt like we were hunting for Easter eggs and I had a blast. It was my first day (and first time) in Paris so this was a great way for me to get to know the area before exploring on my own- Camila had awesome recommendations for food, shopping, and anything else I asked about. Highly recommend!!
