It was great walking pass the not overly long queue and getting into the Arc de Triomphe quickly with the advance ticket. Took lift as couldn't cope with all the stairs. Staff very helpful. Fantastic 360 view from top as it was a sunny day and not too many people, but one family inconsiderately sat together on the walkway which made it impossible to do a complete 360 walk . Had to walk back along the gradient step to find a lower section first to get down and back up. Totally oblivious to the problem they caused. No official in sight which was surprising. Bonus at the end was a short remembrance service for the queen incorporated in the daily service around the eternal flame with lots of dignitaries, and a military band. Got to sing God save the King for the first time - with the new wording correctly. A great trip, having walked from Notre Dame, the Louvre and down the Champs Elysees. Traffic is unbelievable with so many crossings and looking every whichway to cross safely. Manic

The audio guide is an absolute must to appreciate/explore this gem. Don’t miss this treasure. Go out of your way to ensure you take the time here to explore. The audio guide was perfect.
