The tour was organized very well and our guide was super friendly and helpful. My family and I had an amazing time and we even got to experience sun down on the Eiffel tower! We had the boat tour on the Seine first: After a quick introduction and basic information about the tour, our group got a good spot in the waiting queue for the boat ride, so we were able to find good seating on the roof. The ride was 60 minutes from Eiffel tower to Isle de la Cite and back again - all while listening to sweet French music (NO noisy explanations or history lessons), on a medium sized boat. We received a voucher for a glass of champagne (or another drink) to enjoy on board. Back on shore, we rejoined the group and walked all together to the Eiffel tower. We had elevator access to 2nd platform and enjoyed the amazing view. Our guide went with us to the 2nd level and shared fun facts about the tower and interesting city monuments. She was very engaging. Thank you for the good time!

We found the venue easy to locate. Our booking was a timed entrance with no guided tour. Everything went to plan, tickets and passports were checked with the littlest of fuss. Even though I had viewed stunning photographs of the Opera House online, I was still left completely breathless by the sheer magnificence and splendour of the architecture. In this digital age, no photograph nor video compares to being inside, surrounded by the brilliance of Charles Garnier’s design. And fans of the novel, The Phantom of the Opera, written by French author Gaston Leroux, will be enthralled to step inside the actual opera house upon which his novel was based, to take photos of the renowned chandelier and - the door to Box No.5! This is quite literally a fantastic venue and a must see.

We loved the guide’s knowledge and driver’s ability to drive such a long distance in one day! St Michel was just enough time to walk around and see it. Omaha Beach was awesome. If I had a suggestion/wishlist, I would rather go to the U.S. soldiers cemetery than the German bunker. But maybe because being American it is poignant for me the sacrifices these men made during WWII. Other tourists may not want to see it.
