What people are saying about Paris

Awesome tour - one of the highlights of our trip

One word of advice, come hungry! Igor served us pastries and coffe when we arrived while he set things up. Then we proceeded to see the behind the scenes operation of the bakery. He showed us how baguettes were made and let us make a few. Then we went upstairs and made financiers. Finally, they showed us how croissants are made a we then rolled lots of croissants. At the end, he gave us all the baguettes and financiers to take with us. Everything was delicious. And it was really interesting to seethe behind the scenes operation. Our two kids, boys 11 and 12 loved it. Igor and the staff were all great!

A really fun experience to do with children in Paris

A great morning. Our tour guide was really good. Only thing was he wasn’t expecting us despite us have a confirmed booking and having booked 4 months earlier so it was good that he could fit us in and glad that we got there early. Despite that, it was so great to see how a real bakery works and the staff were lovely to everyone. None of the bakers spoke English which made it really French (tour leader did though) and the bread was delicious. You leave with quite a bit that you make that day. Our tour leader was great with the children and really looked after them. A wonderful morning.

Fabulous afternoon of cooking and tasting

I arrived 1hour late as my plane was delayed into Paris, but was instantly welcomed by Frédérique and included into the cooking crew. The pace was lively and any rejects were quickly “ disappeared “ (eaten/ tested) Lots of secret hints and tips for success , emailed recipes after ,and open invitation to troubleshoot any home disasters . Frédérique delivers his class with enthusiasm and passion sweeping everyone along . A scrumptious experience .... imagine if I’d attended the entire class !

Fun tour for all but limited real involvement

All the ingredients are already measures and made prior to families stirring, pouring or rolling so while you do get involved it wasn't at the level we expected. In addition unlike a gelato and pizza class we took you don't get the recipes afterwards. This is fun and interesting to see how the process is still so manual and by hand with over 2000 baguettes made daily. The yummy takeaway bread is a nice touch.

One of our favorite activities in Paris!

This tour surpassed our expectations! It is a must-do for families who enjoy baking/eating delicious French bread and pasties. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating to our children. We all loved making our own goodies and learning about the artistry and operations of this authentic bakery.
