I have to say that I enjoyed practically everything about the experience because it is a complete experience with different types of activities and not just the Lūʻau show. The tattoos, the banana leaf crowns and flower bracelets, the demonstration of ancient cooking techniques over an open fire, the long, communal tables that allow you to meet other people, and learning the hula. The only thing I would improve is perhaps some parts of the Lūʻau show itself, especially the "interruptions" by the presenter, which I think take away some of the magic in general. The first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes are definitely the best of the show! I highly recommend this cultural experience, you won't be disappointed!

The food was good, drinks were good and the entertainment was great. While it was an expensive outing for my family of five, my wife and kids said it was the highlight of the trip. I was initially bummed when we drove up and realized it wasn’t on a beach. But, that didn’t matter much to me once we got inside.
