This day you will go all the way to the river where the wildebeest cross into Mara from Serengeti. All year round there are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara river. After the game drive, you will return back to the camp for dinner, merriment and overnight. Dinner and Overnight At Giraffe Hill Camp DAY 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for cultural encounter on your way- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you en route out of Maasai Mara. Thereafter commence your drive to Nairobi. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided on the way in a traveler's motel. On arrival you will be dropped at your Nairobi Hotel. This marks the end of the tour.

Your adventure begins with pickup you from your Nairobi hotel/residence at 6:00AM. After driving for approximately 1 hour, you will begin the ascent at 6,000 feet. Like all good uphill hikes it will lull you into a sense of false security with a slow gentle rise to the first peak. This will give you the chance to get your lungs and limbs freed up for the second section, which is the best section. At the end of each section there is a rest point where you can prepare yourself for the next part of your journey. You will have started early to avoid the heat of the sun, but by the time you reach the end of the second section you will have generated plenty of your own heat. This hike is not an easy hike, but is achievable by people of average fitness. Your guide will accompany you all the way to the top. The whole tour is only about 8–9 kilometers long but very steep, so that the round-trip from the park gate to Longonot Peak takes around 4 hours. At the conclusion of your tour you will have an optional visit to Lake Naivasha for a sunset boat ride to see hippos, before your return drive to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or airport.

Also, we will visit the famous Mara River where the great migration happens, have a guided tour by the rangers to see the Nile crocodiles and hippo families and to top it off have a picnic lunch under a tree in the park overlooking the vast landscapes. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. We have first-hand insights into the authentic daily life in the Kibera neighborhood.
