What people are saying about Corsica

Friendly and knowledgeable captain, great service

We booked the full package for Scandola, Girolata and Calanche de Piana Boat Cruise. Our boat cruise was split into two days (afternoon and next day morning) due to a special event later on the day we booked, but it is definitely worth it. We were one of the only few people who doesn't speak French however the captain still provided ample information in English that we didn't feel like being left out. Highly recommend this boat cruise.

Corsica: Scandola and Girolata Boat Cruise from Porto Reviewed by Simon Hsien-Chi, 07/20/2018

Beautiful scenery and thoroughly enjoyed the time to walk on the Sanguinaires. However, whilst the tour is clearly promoted as guided in French, it also mentions booklets in at least two other languages. There were no booklets so if you don’t understand French, the only way to learn about the area is to research it yourself.

The comments from the skipper were rich and interesting. The boat was full, therefore not easy to look everything he was mentioning. We felt uncomfortable being dropped 30mn to this small fishing village. We felt as if “you have 30mn to spy on how people live there, and rush back to the boat”. Unnecessary in the trip.

Our guide serge was lovely. He really made the experience pleasurable. We saw wonderful villages and the pace was great even with a 8 year old. We had incredible lunch at Lumio, San Antonio and Pigna were gorgeous. Got a feeling of seeing the real Corsica with this tour! Totally worth the time and money.

Everything as planned, good explanations and tidy boat, but but I'd suggest a smaller one with a smaller group so you can get a more human experience, dive from the boat (we went to swim on the beach stop) and see the calanques closer.
