We start the game in Plaza de Armas Ayacucho at 8 am, halfway through we will make a small stop for those who want to go to the toilets or can also take advantage of having breakfast. From this point we will have to climb a slope to the viewpoint from where we can see the immense canyon of turquoise waters. Those who wish can go down again along a path enabled for this section, until they reach the shore of the pools where they can take photos and videos without entering the water. Optional, some can continue the walk to the eye where this river is born, it will take approximately 30 minutes to walk. In the afternoon we return to the starting point. Figures of musicians, llamas, roosters? Lots of ceramics linked to the Peruvian culture. One kilometer from Quinua is the Historical Sanctuary of the Pampa de Ayacucho. Let's visit it! The Turquoise Waters of Millpu, are a set of more than 20 pools that cross a narrow gorge and its characteristic turquoise colour of its waters is produced due to the sunlight and the minerals that the river drags. Itinerary: The tour starts with the pick up at 8:00 am at the main square of Huamanga, Ayacucho. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will make a stop in the village of Condorccocha so you can have breakfast on your own (chicken broths, lamb, mates, sandwiches and other options). Then, we will continue our journey to the village of Circamarca, where we will undertake an uphill hike of approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Accompanied by our guide, we will reach the impressive natural viewpoint of Millpu, from where we can admire all the pools along the river. Although tourists will be able to descend to the river banks, they will not be able to enter the pools due to ecosystem protection and conservation restrictions. After the tour, we will return to the town of Circamarca to enjoy lunch, where trout dishes will be offered, as this area is dedicated to fish farming. We will be back in the city around 07:30 pm.

You will embark on a 3.5-hour journey to Millpu, reaching Patacocha, a rural community in Circamarca, located in the Huancaraylla district, Victor Fajardo province. After a brief stop in Patacocha, you will start a 20-minute walk to Millpu, where the breathtaking turquoise-colored water pools await. These natural formations, shaped by the Millpu River in steps, display a beautiful turquoise hue (from May to August) and emerald green (from September to November). For a more panoramic view, you will ascend another 15 minutes along a zigzag path, allowing you to admire over 20 pools nestled between canyon walls – a truly mesmerizing sight straight out of fairy tales. Next, you'll descend to the pool's edge for capturing unforgettable photos before returning to the main trail. You'll continue for another 20 minutes to reach the spring, and finally, you'll head back to Patacocha before returning to the city. The tour will conclude in Ayacucho around 8:00 PM, just a block away from the main square. Note: Due to a municipal ordinance, entering the pools is prohibited, but we will approach the edge so you can capture stunning photographs.
