What a fun few hours spent with Luca, our guide. He spoke excellent English and gave us a very interesting tour around Lucca outlining the history and various landmarks. There seemed to be no question he couldn't answer! The bikes were easy to handle and in good condition and the small family-run vineyard was like being invited to lunch by distant family. The tour was very simple, showing winemaking on a small scale but they answered any questions we had and we got to try 3 very nice wines with a delicious lunch. There was no hard sell to get us to buy more wine, but we did anyway! Just as we were due to leave the heavens opened so we were invited back in to drink coffee until the rain had passed. Throughout the day we felt we got very personal service and were not rushed on to the next stage at any time. I would highly recommend this tour.
My adult daughters and I had a memorable day in Lucca! The electric bikes made it so easy to get out of the City and climb the hills in the countryside. Our tour guide Luca was charming and so knowledgeable. It is so rare to find a tour like this that lets you experience a historic city and enjoy home grown wine and local food. Well worth it!
We had a fantastic time. Luca, our guide, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. The farm he took us to was lovely and Carlo & Eva could not have been nicer. Our lunch and wine was delicious. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time. Thomas was fantastic. He explained every step and process in pizza making and gelato making. He sent us a follow up email with recipes. Will recommend to friends. Theresa
It was a great spontaneous class to do with our friends in Florence. Additionally they took the proper precautions during this time. Everything was clean and disinfected.
