We booked this tour as a group of three- myself and my parents. Our guide Ivo was a local of the Duoro region, and was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable; everything from letting us set our own pace to standing in line at the ferry queue for us to make sure that we got the best seats. The spacious van was more than sufficient for us, and very comfortable. The itinerary was not too packed, and allowed for a relaxing pace, which was what we were after. We were not big drinkers, but there is definitely a generous amount of wine on offer for those who are. We felt very well taken care of the entire way and enjoyed ourselves.

The Douro Valley was amazing! We stopped in a small town on the way up for espresso/pastries, took a boat ride up the Douro river and visited 2 wineries, one with an authentic Portuguese meal. Paulo was extremely knowledgeable on the area even brought a pastel de nata for us to enjoy!

This was a great little tour of the area. It was easy to get to and easy to coordinate with other activities. The area near the boats have plenty of food and drink for you. For us it was totally worth it and we're glad we did it.

We were picked up at our apartment. Traveled to Duro Valley where we toured 2 Vineyards, took a boat ride on the Duro river and had a great lunch before we were brought back to our apartment. A tour worth taking!

We enjoyed the ride and multi-language narration was great with provided ear buds
