On this day trip, start with a visit to Jeita Grotto. You will enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to the upper cave; then, after exploring, you will take a train ride down to the lower cave where you will take a boat ride through the river cavern. Afterwards, you will visit the statue of Our Lady of Lebanon, Harissa, which overlooks the Jounieh Bay and offers panoramic views similar to that of Rio de Janeiro’s statue of Christ. Take another cable car ride up in order to go up to Harissa. End the day at Byblos, one of the oldest still inhabited cities in the world - dating back to 8000 years B.C. Walk through the old souq, visit Byblos Castle, go past the Fossils Museum, see Byblos' old port, and admire St Jean Marc Church. Please note Jeita Grotto and cable car are closed on Mondays.

First We will Visit Aaqoura Lakes, and go on a short hike up the hill to get a panoramic view of the breathtaking Aqoura lakes. (Duration 45 Minutes) Later we will head to Baatara Gorge Waterfall, or as it is also known Balou’ Bala’a, The waterfall drops 255 meters (837 ft) into the Baatara Pothole, a cave which goes back to Jurassic times, it’s an extraordinary sight ‘discovered’ in 1952 formed by millions of years’ worth of limestone erosion. Afterwards we’ll visit Mseilha Fort which is built on a long, narrow limestone rock by Emir Fakhreddin II in the 17th century to guard the route from Tripoli to Beirut. We’ll Climb to the top, and explore the surrounding area of the fort. Lunch stop will be at a local restaurant: (Duration 1 hour) Our Last Visit will be Batroun old souk & the port, overlooking the old harbor / fishermen’s port and the Maronite Saint – Stephan (mar estephan) (achieved at the beginning of the 20th century). It is one of the biggest and most beautiful churches of Lebanon.

It was beautiful exploring it with Albert!
