After pickup from your accommodation in Puebla, you’ll head straight to the archaeological site of Cholula, home to the largest pyramid in the world. Climb to the top of the pyramid and wander the large plateau of the pyramid, taking note of the ornate church and views of the surrounding volcanoes. Afterward, head to the Church of Santa Maria Tonantzintla in the town of Cholula, a chapel famous for its elaborate interior decorations and significance to local religious tradition. Then head to a pottery studio to taste artisanal spirits, including eggnog and other locally-crafted liquors.  You’ll end your day by heading to the brilliantly colorful Church of San Francisco Acatepec to explore the exquisite details of the mosaics, inside and out. Return back with drop-off at any point in Puebla City.

After pickup from your accommodation in Puebla, head out towards Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park. After 2 hours, you’ll arrive at La Joyita, where you’ll register with officials and gain a better understanding of the route via a scale model of the volcanoes. From there, you’ll continue driving to La Joya, 13,133 feet above sea level, and the main parking area for volcanic exploration. Begin your hike, climbing to the first scenic viewpoint at 13,914 feet above sea level. Gaze out across the breathtaking vista before climbing even higher, to 14,340 feet, where you’ll pause again, finally ending your hike at an unbelievable 14,842 feet above sea level. Break for lunch, taking in the otherworldly views. Afterwards, you’ll descend back to the parking lots, before heading back to your accommodation.

Start with pickup from your accommodation in Puebla and travel 1 hour in an air-conditioned van to Chautla's Ex-Hacienda. Here, take a 1-hour walking tour by the springs and end up at a beautiful castle located in the middle of the lake. Climb to the roof and take in panoramic views of the lake and property. The second stop is San Martin ranch, famous for its lavender fields and its distillery. Participate in a soap-making workshop and keep your handmade soap as a souvenir. Next, visit the shop where you can see all the specialty products made at the ranch and taste lavender coffee and sponge cake. The last stop is the Val'Quirico complex where you can explore the shops and charming restaurants. Inspired by San Quirico d'Orcia, a town in the Tuscany region of Italy, the complex has a charming medieval style. At the end of the tour, return to your accommodation in Puebla.
