Had a perfect day sailing to Ithaca! The description of the trip was accurate, plus we got to go to a second swim stop on the way back. Both swim stops were stunning - clear blue waters - as were Vathy and Kioni! Top tip, bring your lunch so you can make best use of your time and swim at Kioni too, although tavernas are available if you don't. It's up to you how you spend your time and money at both towns which was nice. After our last swim they had slices of watermelon waiting for us on the boat which was really refreshing. Bring cover-ups and a hat in case you can't get a shady spot on the boat, but once you start sailing the sea breeze keeps you cool. We would have liked a little bit more chat about the island and its history, but we found it out for ourselves after!

Our Canadian-Greek guide was amazing, she was entertaining and informative. She really made our trip to Itaca special. Our coach driver ‘Denis’ mananged to cafefully navigate the coach through the narrow streets and hairpin bends on the island with great skill and care. If you have only one day to see Ithaca, I can’t think of a better way to see it.
