What people are saying about Naxos

Excellent! Sopfo is an easygoing, smart, funny guide. Loved it!

This was so wonderful. It's an easy ride, very few inclines of any measure at all, plus 99% traffic-free. The ride is around the pedestrian mall areas around the Acropolis and neighboring areas. Sopfo our guide is easygoing, smart, and funny. She shares a few personal details of living in Athens mixed in with just the right amount of history along the way. We learned a lot, laughed and got a real sense of both history and life in Athens today. We used e-bikes which were not at all necessary for us, but we enjoyed the boost anyway. The scenes are spectacular, eye-popping for first-time visitors like us. There is great comraderie among the many bike tours and guides. You cover so much ground so easily that you could never do on foot. One of the best bike tours we've taken. Thanks, Sopfo!

Delos is great if you love ancient history

Crossing was rough in parts, Delos was good, entry is €12 payable by card and we picked up a tour guide for €10 each. Yolanda gave us a thorough understanding & orientation in 1hr. You get 2.5hrs so you can see the museum & other parts not that were explained to explore on your own. Ground is uneven but hat not necessary for the short time you are there as it's quite windy. Mykonos was 3hrs and it's mostly shops & restaurants so if you can last til then, have lunch in Mykonos unless you are catching the bus to the beach outside town. Alternatively, there is the town beach for a dip. Stops at Paris both ways. Try & get seat outside as UT's much cooler in the humidity compared to inside. Bar onboard selling snacks & drinks. Leaves Naxos at 8.45am & returns at 7pm.

Delos was absolutely amazing! 3 hours isn't enough time, there's so much history to see, amazing views with photo opportunities everywhere. Mykonos... Meh. Only if you like to shop. We travelled away from the shops and took some amazing photos of the narrow footpaths and flowered trees. Also, pack a snack to eat on the boat from Delos to Mykonos, we were starving after all that walking on Delos. We'll worth the money.

Delos was beautiful and incredibly well-preserved ruins. However we felt we needed more time and would have definitely benefitted from having a guide. Mykonos was not as interesting to us as there were many shops to browse. This is not an interest of ours and we went up high to view Mykonos and the windmills.

This really isn’t a tour, but a total of 4 to 5 hours ferry ride between the islands. Make sure you get a guide in Delos because other wise you will just be looking at ruins for hours. We had 3 hours of free time in Mykonos, which was enough for us.
