From start to finish, our gorilla trekking experience was nothing short of amazing. The day started with a timely pick-up in a comfortable tour van, setting the tone for a well-organized trip. Though we faced an unexpected vehicle breakdown on our way back, the rescue team arrived promptly, ensuring minimal disruption. They even went the extra mile by dropping us at a supermarket to grab a few essentials—such a thoughtful gesture! A huge shoutout to Joel, our driver, who went above and beyond! He was incredibly kind, full of positive energy, and captured some stunning photos of us throughout the trip. Theo, our guide, was knowledgeable and made sure we had an enriching experience, while our porters were absolute lifesavers—the trek was no joke, and their support made a world of difference. Despite the challenges, everything was handled with professionalism and warmth. This was an unforgettable adventure, and I highly recommend this company to anyone considering a gorilla trek!

This trip is all about getting close to the gorillas and everything is focused on that. The driver who picks you up is knowledgeable and pleasant (despite fact it's ungodly early), you are linked up with a Ranger who leads your group into the jungle and he is full of knowledge and interesting information, they match you up with porters and macheted trackers to make your way through dense jungle terrain and an armed protector is along for safety. They balanced the demands of the trek into jungle with abilities of group to meet the demands. Well looked after and we saw the gentle giants in their home environment; a truly unique life experience.

It was a great day - to be with the gorillas is an exhilarating experience although the silverback could have been a little more lively but I guess he ate too much and was tired. But the guide, trekers and porters all very nice, knowledgeable, helpful people and looked after us well. A special word for my driver John, who was a great guy, engaging, knowledgeable, really friendly and a great driver....we had some great conversations - he taught me much about Rwanda.....it was fantastico....thanks Joe
