What people are saying about Praia

It was an excellent tour of the Island for me and to top it off I had the best English speaking tour guide(Eddy). Adequate information was provided. Whenever I had a question, Eddy patiently provided answers. A very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. It was a personal experience and an enlightening one at that. Met the Rebelados community and learned about their non-porous straw house. I got to see the colourful Assomada market, best place to get your souvenir. I enjoyed the captivating life music at the restaurant in Tarrafal and the beach.

The tour was really interesting and I loved the things I learned about the culture of Cidade Velha and the sorroundings. Especially important was the knowledge about the slaves and the development of the village. I've had the best guide I could have imagined and Andrew made it to a fulfilling experience. Thank you a lot.

Guys, just a note about our guide, Fidel. We had him on 2 tours and he was excellent. He’s relaxed, friendly, goes out of his way to explain everything and makes the day enjoyable. He’s a good one so hold on to him. Please give him our thanks. David Smyth

Andre was a great guide, super knowlegeable, and enthusiastic! The tour is a good way to get to visit and know more about Cidade Velha and Praia, I enjoyed the sights and learning about history. Visiting the markets is also a unique experience.

Andrew was an attentive and engaging guide, and the tour served as a good way to experience a new place. Recommend!
