The hike along the beautiful Levada do Rei (No. PR18) was very beautiful, nice and flat and the same route there and back. We were picked up from the hotel on time and were a pleasantly small group of 9 people. Sarah, our guide, explained a lot to us on the way there and spoke German very well. We had a 30-minute break at Ribero Bonito and we could walk the way back at our own pace and Sarah came to the meeting point in the cafeteria at the end of the group. There were a few places that could be a bit difficult if you're afraid of heights, but my girlfriend did very well anyway and she really enjoyed it. The route in total was about 10.5 km, slightly uphill there and gently downhill back. Since you go through a waterfall twice, it's advisable to have a rain jacket with you. Overall, a lovely tour with Lido Tour, with whom we'll definitely be happy to go hiking again on our next holiday on Madeira.

I definitely recommend the Levada do Rei Hike as it is very easy, all flat, about 11 km and follows a Levada, so you can‘t get lost. Was ideal for my First Levada tour and Not very crowded :) The Transfer worked perfectly, Fabio picked me up at a central Spot and it is about 1 hr drive before you start the tour. 3,5 Hours later they pick you up and bring you back to Funchal. I loved the day in the Forrest with the Eukalyptus trees and their Great Smell. It has a healing effect and I also enjoyed the views while hiking. Thanks a lot for the Great Service!

Very impressive communication with this company. We were picked up on time in a good car with a good & careful driver. The levada was pleasant but do be aware it can be slippy underfoot, especially if it has rained. An easy walk with no challenges except slippiness. What made the hike enjoyable for us was the company we had along the walk.

I was alone with guide Vincencio (fon), the others had cancelled. Beautiful tour on the North side, nice cycling, learned interesting things about Madeira and had good conversations, in short a great morning. I would do it again with this organizer💪👍🏼

The transfer worked well. The driver was on time on both the outward and return journeys and the 4-hour time slot is sufficient for this tour.
