Guide was very well known. She would even be recognized by a lot of the tour guides along the way whom she either worked or trained before. She really is a very experienced guide and has a lot of stories but best part about her is that she doesn't tell them in a way that it feels like your in a class and it gets boring. She tells the important details and some extra info and gives you enough time to be on your own and have the experience of being in the Holy Land not just to take pictures but to just to enjoy the city of peace. She treats everyone like adults which I like and not baby anyone, and gives direct and simple instructions as to where to meet up after.
A terrific tour with plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful Historic and religious sites of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. An absolute must-do tour if time is short when visiting the Holy Land. Apart from the relatively short drive from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the majority of the time is spent following a very knowledgeable guide. To meet the agreement requirements between Israel and Palestine, a switch in vehicles and guides is required, but don’t worry, it is seamless and well coordinated. The driver, tour bus and guide in Bethlehem are equally skilled and conversant. A 5-star tour!
David Ringler is an awesome guide. With a group of 7 friends, we needed to leave a little later, no issue. The program was very fluid, adjusting to our needs. He is very upbeat and knowledgeable, speaks 7 languages and is very sociable. Even though no food/beverages were included, he bought water, beer, shisha... He will make sure the car is cool when you get back. He will get you to the quiet beach at the Dead Sea. Make sure to carve ample of time out, his stories might take a little longer than you've planned time for! :-)
Amazing tour. Loved every second of it. It's a full on day and pretty exhausting, so be prepared. There is so much to pack in and see but some may struggle to keep up. By the time lunch came around everyone was more than ready for a break. The lunch so was superb. Great local food and more than could be eaten. All in all a day to remember.
Ofir is an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide. The tour covers mainly Jewish and Christian sites although we did walk through the Muslim quarter. As the tour needs a lot of time to cover all the stops you don’t have time to stop and shop.
